SF & Seneca Ray, LLC is a company that produces Christian contemporary music to be recorded by interested parties. Some of the profits will go to the support of a ministry at my church called “Tend My Sheep” [TMS] which supports families with children. The purpose of this ministry is to help provide food for families with children who struggle to feed them. In our area, there are a number of families with children who go to school hungry and may not eat for an entire day. The school system helps with free breakfast and lunch but with no school in the summer, children and families are forced to fend for themselves. TMS is a ministry designed to help these families. This company hopes to provide original music that artists will want to record. Some of the profits will go to the TMS ministry as well as others that our church is engaged in.
From the beginning, this music ministry has been a calling. It began ten years ago when I asked God to give me a passion for something. I thought it would be ministry with children, youth, or senior adults. I was surprised when the passion God gave me was for music. Even though I’ve been involved in music all of my life, I wasn’t prepared for this gift from God.
I began writing songs along with some folks in the church that I was serving at the time. I’ve been developing that passion over the last ten years. There was much to learn and I’m still learning. The songs provided are, hopefully, something various artists are looking for to include on some project they’re involved with. I believe God is leading me to do this full time. Only time will tell.
